A huge security flaw was discovered today and released by 9to5mac.com that allows anyone to bypass the lockscreen on iPhones running iOS 4.1 and under (pretty much every iPhone in the world as of right now). This trick/hack has been tested and confirmed on an iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G. It does not work on the iPod Touch or iPad because they do not have emergency call button (or a way to make the call for that matter). Does not matter if you are jailbroken or not. Apple most definitely will be patching this with a minor update VERY soon. This has gone public and needs to be addressed. Expect 4.1.1 very soon. Although this will be a minor update and will probably only address this issue, they may decide to patch the exploit that allows greenpois0n to be untethered. So unless you want a tethered jailbreak, BACK UP YOUR SHSH NOW. Use TinyUmbrella (link below).
